Urban Layers (NYC)
I'm not going to say a lot about these two photos; I think the title pretty much states what I was trying to do here (and what I try to do with a lot of my urban photography). Both of these were taken in Brooklyn. The bottom photo is the Henry Ward Beecher Statue in Columbus Park. The figure photographed in this shot depicts an African-American girl placing a palm branch at Henry Ward Beecher's feet (he was a famous abolitionist).
Nikon D90 w/ 16-85mm lens, 1/640sec and 1/320sec, f8 and ISO200.
