Photo of the Week: raise your hands for Chicago!

raise your hands for Chicago!

This week's photo was taken on June 12th, during the 2011 MP3 Experiment Chicago.  For those unfamiliar with this event-- it's basically a flash mob where everyone shows up with an MP3 loaded onto their media player of choice, presses play at the same time, and then does whatever ridiculous things they're directed to do.  I didn't participate, but it was quite amusing to watch.  In this shot, everyone was told to raise their hands indicating the event had begun.

Here's another photo taken near the bean:

Everyone touch the shiny metal thing.  The shiny metal thing is your friend.

I've posted a few additional images on my flickr account.

[BLOG NOTE: I'm posting this on Monday June 20th but have back dated the post to last Thursday, since that's when I intended to put it up.  I got unexpectedly busy last week and this slipped through the cracks.]
