I can't escape the feeling that this photo is a little cliche-- do a search on flickr for "pigeons" and "black and white" and you'll see that I'm far from the first person to photograph a pigeon or group of pigeons perched somewhere. Still, I think the inclusion of the street light marks this as distinctly Chicago, so I'm willing to accept some cliche.
I should note that I took this photo back in August, but at the time it felt out of season. So I've waited until now to put it online.
Photo Details: Nikon D90 with 55-200mm, 1/1600sec at f8 and ISO400. I added a touch of vignetting and film grain to the photo in post processing.
