One of at least three helicopters circling above Daley Plaza, October 2nd, 2009, during the 2016 Olympic Bid rally. It took some trial and error to get this shot, as I wanted the propeller blades to be just a touch blurry and I wasn't sure what shutter speed to use. It turns out about 1/100sec works very well. This was shot with a Nikon 55-200mm lens at 200mm and f20-- I credit a steady hand combined with the excellent VR system for this photo turning out as sharp as it is. Check out this 100% crop:
