The great thing about living in a city as big as Chicago: you never run out of new areas to explore and new things to photograph. I stumbled upon this photo while walking through what appeared to be a fairly residential block in an area known as "River West." This is the rail spur that starts at the Kinzie Ave railroad bridge, itself a Chicago landmark, and snakes northwest to where I was standing. It's not currently in use, however, this line used to stretch all the way east to Navy Pier.
