The Pen Story Video

Olympus is continuing the marketing push for its new Digital Pen Camera (which I first wrote about here) with this insane stop motion video:

My brain hurts thinking about how much effort went into this.  According to Olympus, they shot "60,000 pictures, developed 9,600 prints and shot over 1,800 pictures again."  My favorite part is the hang gliding sequence at about 2:30.  The music is a little cheesy but effective.

I saw a familiar name in the comments over on Ken Tanaka's review of the E-P1 at The Online Photographer. Thought I'd pop over here and say hello somewhere other than on flikr.

So, when does your E-P1 arrive? :)

Hi Rob. I haven't ordered mine yet! I'm still thinking about that one. It's an intriguing camera, but do I really need to spend another $800 bucks? I'm not sure. I may wait for an EP-2 or for the price to drop.

Thanks for stopping by!
